Failed jobs

यह कंटेंट अभी तक आपकी भाषा में उपलब्ध नहीं है।

Focus does some work in the background: report exports, scheduled e-mail reports, e-mails, billing updates and KVKK data exports and erasures. Each piece of work is a job. A job that fails is tried again several times with growing pauses; most problems, such as a short network outage, go away on their own. A job that still fails after the last attempt is listed under Settings → Failed jobs.

Only the owner of the organization sees this page.

The list shows the failed jobs of the last 30 days, newest first:

ColumnWhat it shows
JobWhat the job was doing, for example a report export or an e-mail
ErrorA short error code, translated when the dashboard knows it. The full error text is never shown, because it could contain personal data
AttemptsHow many times Focus tried
FailedWhen the last attempt failed, in your time zone

Failed jobs are removed from the list after 30 days. When the list is empty, nothing has failed in that time.

Once a day the owner gets a notification in the dashboard when new jobs have failed (notifications).

Retry puts the job back in the queue from the start. The row leaves the list; if the job fails again, it comes back with a new time. Retry is offered for:

  • report exports and scheduled e-mail reports,
  • e-mails,
  • billing updates,
  • KVKK data exports and erasures.

Other jobs have no Retry button (job_not_retryable): they are repeated on their own schedule, or retrying them would do the same work twice. A job that has been removed in the meantime answers job_not_found; reload the page.

While the account is read-only, jobs cannot be retried (read-only account and plan limits).

  1. Check the status of the service in the help panel’s System and my devices (system and my devices). If a part of the service is down, wait until it is back, then choose Retry.
  2. For a failed export, you can also start the export again from Reports → Exports (exports and e-mail reports).
  3. If a job fails again after a retry, contact support with the job and its error code (report a problem). Support sees the same code, not your data.
