The welcome tour

The welcome tour points at the main parts of the dashboard, one step at a time, so that you know where things are before you start. It has at most six steps and takes about a minute.

Two tours

What you see depends on your role:

Owners, admins, team admins and managers: the dashboard, the team view, the Reports menu, the list of users under Settings, the security settings and the question mark that opens the help.
Employees: My Focus, your Timeline, your profile and the question mark that opens the help.

A step whose part of the page you do not have, because of your role or your plan, is left out.

When it starts

The tour starts once, the first time you use the new version of the dashboard. For owners and admins whose getting-started checklist opens on its own, it starts right after they close the checklist (getting help in the dashboard). It does not start again by itself, whether you finished it or skipped it.

Move through it

Use the buttons on each step, or the left and right arrow keys, to go back and forward.
Press Esc or close the step to skip the rest of the tour.
Keyboard focus stays in the tour while it is open. When your system asks for reduced motion, the tour does not animate.

Take it again

Open the help panel with the question mark at the top of the dashboard (or Shift+/) and choose Take the tour. The tour starts from its first step.
