Close the organization

此内容尚不支持你的语言。

When your company stops using Focus, the owner can close the organization. Everyone loses access right away, and 30 days later all of the organization’s data is erased. Only the owner sees this screen: Settings → Privacy (KVKK) → Close organization.

Closing is final after 30 days. If you only want to stop paying, cancel the plan instead: the account becomes read-only and nothing is erased (plans and billing).

  • Export what you need. After closing, nobody can sign in, including you. Download your reports from Reports → Exports (exports and e-mail reports) and your invoices from Settings → Billing.
  • Answer open KVKK requests. Keep the reports you need (KVKK requests).
  • Release legal holds. An organization with an active legal hold cannot be closed (tenant_has_legal_hold, retention and legal holds).
  • Tell your people. Ask them to uninstall the desktop app afterwards.

The screen shows your organization’s short name; type it to confirm, and give a reason if you like. Focus asks you to sign in again, then closes the organization. A different name is refused (closure_confirmation_mismatch).

  • Everyone is signed out of the dashboard and the desktop app, and nobody can sign in to the organization any more. The desktop apps send nothing more.
  • Right after the closure, Focus cancels the subscription with the payment provider. The rest of the period is not refunded.
  • Everyone gets a notification, and the owner gets an e-mail with the date of the erasure and how to reopen.

Focus erases the organization’s data everywhere: people, teams, settings, activity, time entries, leave, shifts, reports, report exports, KVKK exports, notifications and the audit log.

Kept because the law requires them for 10 years (Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law): invoices, the subscription record, the billing details and the billing entries of the audit log. They belong to your company, and Focus does not remove them by age. The erased data stays in the encrypted backups for at most 35 more days, then drops out.

Within the 30 days, only Workify360 support can reopen the organization: write to support@workify360.com from the owner’s e-mail address. The data is then back as it was. A subscription that was already cancelled with the payment provider stays cancelled, so the owner chooses a plan again. After the erasure nothing can be restored.
