Apps & URLs and the timeline

Konten ini belum tersedia dalam bahasa Anda.

These pages show which apps and websites people spent their time on, and how each day went.

Reports → Apps & URLs lists where time went in a date range, for everyone you can see (employees see their own time). Owners, admins, team admins and managers can filter by team and person.

  • Tabs for apps, domains and hosts.
  • Each row shows the time, the share of the total, the productivity level (productive, neutral or unproductive) and the category.
  • A text search narrows the list.
  • In the new version of the dashboard the list shows the first rows with the total count; Load more adds the rest.

To change a level or a category, use Settings → Productivity rules (productivity rules).

URLs are collected on macOS in Chrome (also Chrome Canary and Chromium), Brave and Safari, and on Windows, from desktop app 2.0.6, in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Chromium, Arc and Firefox, if the company records website addresses. Time in other browsers, browser time on Linux and Windows browser time from before the app updated to 2.0.6 appear under the browser app without a domain. From desktop app 2.0.7, so does time in the private windows the app recognizes, which are recorded without the window title or the address; Safari private windows on macOS cannot be told apart and keep their address. Desktop app 2.0.7 also reads no addresses until it has received the company’s settings, for example right after the first sign-in. See what Focus records.

Click a row to open its detail page: the total, level and category, time per day, the people who used it, and the hosts of an app or the apps of a domain.

Window titles and URLs are shown only when:

  • a single person is selected,
  • the range is 31 days or shorter,
  • the company settings allow window titles (or website addresses) for that person, and
  • for titles, the day is within the company’s title retention period (90 days by default).

Otherwise the page explains why they are hidden. Titles never appear in team lists, the dashboard or e-mail reports, and never to Workify360 support (support access).

In the new version of the dashboard, every time the window titles and URLs of a person are shown, Focus keeps an access log entry of who viewed them, for whom and for which days. The same applies to the Titles and URLs export (exports).

Reports → Timeline shows one person’s day as a bar with each five minutes, coloured by productivity level, with private, offline and deleted time as separate bands. Pick a person and a day; employees see their own days.
