Notifications

یہ مواد ابھی آپ کی زبان میں دستیاب نہیں ہے۔

Focus tells you when something needs your attention: a leave request to approve, a decision on your own request, a payment that failed, a KVKK request with a deadline. Each notification appears in the dashboard, and some also come by e-mail.

The bell in the top bar shows how many notifications you have not read yet. The number is refreshed about once a minute while the dashboard is open in front of you, and right after you act on a notification.

Open the bell to see your latest ten notifications:

  • Choose a notification to open the page it is about; it is marked as read.
  • Mark all as read clears the number.
  • All notifications opens the notifications page.

The notifications page lists everything you received, newest first. Show only the unread ones or one category (calendar, billing, privacy, failed jobs, system), choose Load more to go further back, and Delete a notification you no longer need. Notifications are kept for 90 days.

Notifications are written in your language when you open them, from a short record of what happened (for example the kind of leave and its dates). They never contain the note of a leave request or any other free text, so nothing sensitive ends up in a notification or in an e-mail about it.

Open your profile’s Notifications tab. Under Notification preferences each category has two switches: one for the dashboard and one for e-mail. You only see the categories that concern your role. Changes apply to the next notification.

A few switches are always on and greyed out, because the law or your account depends on them:

  • the owner’s billing e-mails and the e-mail about closing the organization;
  • KVKK request notices for the owner and admins, in the dashboard and by e-mail, because the organization has to answer a request within 30 days.

Trying to turn one off is refused (preference_locked). The lock follows your current role: an admin who becomes the owner gets the owner’s locks right away, and someone who is no longer an admin no longer has theirs.

Calendar e-mails have two switches, and an e-mail is sent only when both are on:

  1. The organization’s Calendar e-mails setting in Settings → Company (a team can override it on its team page, see company settings). It is the organization’s gate: when it is off, nobody in that company or team gets calendar e-mails.
  2. Your own e-mail switch for the calendar category in Notification preferences, on by default.

The dashboard notification arrives in either case. An admin can no longer turn calendar e-mails off for one person; each person decides for themselves.

  • Check the switches above and your spam folder.
  • If an e-mail to your address bounced or was marked as spam, Focus stops sending e-mails to that address to protect its delivery. The dashboard notifications keep coming. Once the mailbox works again, write to support@workify360.com to lift the block; your admin cannot lift it in the dashboard.
  • If e-mail sending is not set up for the service, no e-mails are sent at all (system and my devices).
